I grew up in Heber City, UT. I graduated from high school in the late 80’s (my first concert was Tears for Fears)! I pegged my pants but I didn’t wear my collar up. Those who were teenagers in the 80’s will know what I mean.
I graduated from Utah State University in the mid nineties. While I was going to school a friend of mine asked me to be a groomsman at his Wedding in Kanab, UT. It’s a good thing I went because that is where I met my wife to be. She was a bridesmaid. Her first impression of me was when I was wearing a tux, I was lucky. We were engaged about two weeks after meeting and married about six months later. We have been married 15 years. I love her more now than ever.
I have one daughter and another one on the way this fall. My daughter is almost five. The other day we were driving and she said “Daddy, if we see any bad guys I will Kung Fu them into death.” She is so cool! I love to play with her. I wish I could slow down how fast she is growing up but every age is a blessing.
Here is what I like to do: Fly fish, hunt, hike, golf, tennis, running, ATV’s, camping with family, photography and most of all hanging out with friends and family. I love people, all kinds.
Here is what I hate: Hanging blinds (I don’t know why but I can’t stand to hang new blinds.) long meetings, pointless meetings, not being close to mountains ( I lived in Atlanta for 3 years and I couldn’t stand not seeing mountains) negative people, long lines and people who are confrontational over nothing…life is to short.
My motto: The answer to almost everything is - go fishing -
